GSM-Rail is an important building block of the European Rail Transport Management System - ERTMS.
GSM-Rail covers the ERTMS radio communication part and it is based upon common GSM standards, which are extended an adopted to the specific needs of railway communication networks. GSM-R transports both speech and ETCS data.
Our GSM-Rail training course gives a detailed insight into the GSM-Rail and the rail-specific functions and extensions. The participants learn the rail-specific addressing modes and group functions.
