The European Train Control System - ETCS is an important building block of the European Rail Traffic Management System ERTMS.
Trans-European railway corridors are under construction using this technology.
ETCS creates interoperability between rail network operators, reduces costs and saves time in the international rail traffic. Above this the track occupancy is optimized. We offer two ETCS training courses:

  • ETCS Introduction and
  • ETCS Track Planning
The ETCS introduction training course covers the technical basics of trackside and train equipment. The participants learn the different fields of standardization and the ETCS level functions.

The
ETCS track planning course shows the different ETCS planning steps, the required planning documents and the planning results.
During this course the trainees learn the different planning tasks with a practical example of a conventional track to be transferred to ETCS.

Course duration:
ETCS Introduction: 2 days
ETCS Track Planning: 2 days
