The training course „Mobile Evolution“ analyzes the evolution of mobile networks from GSM/GPRS to EDGE and EGPRS and further to UMTS and LTE. The relevant developments and tendencies in the access network and in the core network to Next Generation Network concepts are explored.
Course target:
The participants learn about future trends of mobile network development. Short-term alternatives in the radio network (UMTS – WiMAX) are explored as well as the long-term evolution and developing new multimedia streaming techniques e.g. DVB-H and DMB.

Mobile network and metro network operators, wireless access providers, network planners and service providers.
