The training course „VQA – Speech and Video Quality Analysis“ describes the state-of-the-art of speech and video quality assessment theoretically and demonstrates the methods explained with some practical measurement examples.
Particularly VQA methods are presented for the measurement and optimization of heterogenious netwoks which require the interworking of legacy TDM technology with a NGN.
Course target:
The participants learn the specific application areas of different VQA methods. Above this they understand the properties of the most common speech and video codecs and their impact on VQA measurement methods.
