The training course „Voice over IP Protocols“ covers VoIP network elements, protocols and procedures of the VoIP service. The SIP-family protocols (SIP, SDP, RTP/RTCP) are explained in detail and the relevant protocol measurement techniques for trouble-shooting purpose are presented.
The training course includes the practical presentation of a real VoIP network environment using a VoIP-PBX (software) and two (hardware)
telephones.

Course target:
The participants learn the relevant protocol messages and procedures in detail on a practical basis. Above this they understand measurement methods for testing and trouble-shooting VoIP services.

Traget group:
Mobile network and metro network operators, network planners and personnel in charge of
acceptance test, installation and integration.
